How much does a cricket bat cost?
I am going to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji in about 5 weeks. My dad wants me to buy a cricket bat for him since he is a huge sports fan. About how much would a cricket bat cost and in what country would I have a better chance finding one? (By the way...we won't use the bat....just for display but nothing cheap)

- depends on the quality of the bat
- The price of the cricket bat will vary from brand to brand. The same will be available from U.K.Pounds 105/- onwards. Please check the following link for details about different brands of cricket bats and their price etc. http://www.cricketdirect.co.uk/acatalog/bats.html
- It can cost from $50.00 to well over 500.00 but if he is not a serious cricketer then under a hundred dollar bat should do just fine. I would buy it in Australia.
- ummm...right a cricket bat...why the heck would u ever want to purchase a cricket bat... they are gay.....id rather play cricket with daniel durband.....screw a cricket bat and go do something useful with ur life...like owning noobs...or counting the freckles on ur face!
- it depends
- have a look in the sports shop there ... aus and new zealand are much the same prices.............there all different prices in bats.........
- It depends on the quality of the wood used to make the bat mostly but a few other things will add to the price. You can get something decent for between $100 and $200 Australian.
- I bought my first cricket bat for 150 rupees about 15 years ago..
- if u r going to australia and new zealand it would b better to take from australia as in australia cricket is more popular among the people than in new zealand. and price depends on the quality of the bat, weight, etc.
