my cricket bats sticky?

my bats a Reebok cricket bat fantastic bat. my brother decided to rip the stickers of it and now its really stticky and effets my shot play. ANY IDEA ON HOW TO GET RID OF IT WITHOUT AFFECTING MY BAT PERFORMANCE

2. your brother screwed you. Buy a new bat and keep if away from your brother.

4. Unfortunate problem. Mine has to do with my wicket. Very sticky. Methanol might do it.
5. Wipe over the glue affected area with a small amount of Eucalyptus oil. If Eucalyptus oil not avalible to you try methylated spirts.
6. I get this because I removed the stickers of my current bat because the make is different to the kit make I wear for club. Basically to remove the stickyness just sand it off with fine sandpaper. Make sure you sand evenly though, and you can oil after sanding to prevent your bat from drying up. Hope this helps.
