what are the differences in same cricket bat but from different shops/sites?
I'm looking to buy a cricket bat, one site says its willow grade is 2, whereas another site say's its grade is 1?

- the only difference is the price tag edit: call them up
- A grade 2 willow is not the same as grade 1 or grade 1+ willow. Most of the grades got to do with the quality of the bat and grains and color. Even the manufacturer may be the same, marketing of the product could be the same, but they are different. So other than the price, which goes with the quality and hence it is important to get the exact product number and compare them with other sites. So if you want a Grade 1, then look for the exact match and check the price.... Read this for more info: http://www.owzat-cricket.co.uk/about_cricket_bats/about_cricket_bats.htm
- The grade 1 will be a better bat and will be priced accordingly, which will ultimately determine your purchase. Buy a bat that suits your ability to use it. You don't buy a million dollar bat to play in the street.
- There are bound to be differences. It is not dependent on the shops/sites you get into. Its the brand of the bat. For example, a Reebok Cricket bat will have more varieties and different kind of bats. It is more dependent on the grade. Some bats have long handles, some have short handles, some have thick blade, thin blade etc, and all these factors constitute for the actual selling price. Thanks!
