Which of the following is a better cricket bat to buy?
I am a big hitter as well as wristy driving middle order batsman. I am looking to buy a dual purpose bat, but I am still in a confusion. The following are the bats I am considering: Kookaburra Ricky Ponting Grade 1 with graphite, Kookaburra Beast Grade 1 with graphite, and the grade 1 Puma bats with carbon core. Which do u guys think is the best bat for my purpose? My cricket league is up in a month. Please help me!!!!

- the best bat to play with is your own bat!
- Go and find somewhere that stocks all of the brands you are intersted in and see which one feels best. Think about the pick-up, how heavy it feels when you're preparing to play a shot, which parts of your hands the handle puts pressure on and decide which is the most comfortable to use. I don't think that any "brand" of bat is any better than any other but the weight and shaping of the bat will make a difference to each individual player. I reckon the best way to buy a bat is to go to a manufacturer and try a load of differently weighted bats and pick whichever one you like best.... Best of luck for your season.

- The one you score with.
- ok, this probably means that u like to drive the ball and hit plenty of shots. well, i cannot make this choice for u, but i can tell u this stuff 1) Kookaburra bats are good for batsmen with good technique for example Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey 2) Puma bats are generally used by lower middle order batsmen in limited overs matches as they are good for hitting the big ones 3) Kookaburra beast is also good for hitting 4) Puma is lighter than Kookaburra 5) Kookaburra has a better grip than puma its really ur choice, mate. i can't make the choice for u judging from what i have written above, u should be able to buy a good bat 4 ur purposes good luck in the cricket league u are playing in
- What you're looking for is a bat with a lower middle. This is because you like to drive, having said this you will need a lighter bat. This is because lower middles don't have anything on the other side to balance the bat out, as they have a low middle. Bats you should look at include the Kookaburra ICE Sub Zero, MRF does lots of lower middle bats, and also have a look at Indian bade bats as the middle does tend to be lower. Have a look, hope this helps.
