how does the "cardon handle" affect cricket bats?
In gray niccols bats etc. I have heard rumours of handles snapping off. Thanks

- Carbon is lighter and stronger than wood... it also vibrates less in the hands! It is meant to increase the power of your strokes aswell
- the carbon handle is supposed to help give greater control and power. as for the handles snapping this is true. Gray Nic say that about 1 in 10 are being affected. I have one (1000 series) and two other players from my team also have them. both of them have had the handles in their bat snap but so far so good with mine. if it does happen GN will replace the handle for you if you return it to the place of purchase. however you will be without your bat for up to 6 weeks at the moment as it is cricket season and therefore it will take longer for them to get the time to replace the handle (they are repalced with old style ones not another carbon handle).
