Are the new adidas cricket bats good?

Recently adidas have come into cricket and are now endorsed by kevin pietersen, one of the worlds best batsmen. I'm sure this will interest people and it has for me. Some im wondering does anyone have one of these bats and if so whats ur opinion on it?

1. I must add mitt they do look smart but i would not trust them just yet alot of bats made by flashy companies are made of cheap wood called Kashmir wood this is basically the bad stuff. Trust me underneath the paint,the wood is horrible this is how they make their money. For me i would wait and see if they get any more popular. Try looking at review on the web.
2. they all have crap profiles, but just cos kp uses them they think its ok to sell them for £280! rip off
3. They are probably very expensive, and with inexperience, could lack quality. However, as KP seems to approve, they must be decent at the very least - his one made him 97 (Although it should have been a lot more but for poor shot selection) last week at the top level of the game.
4. does it really matter what bat you have. if you werent a good cricket player and had a good bat what the point of buying something so expensive. i should suggest sometimes they get a really good players to try and get people to buy things. get a double sided bat LOL.
5. These are fairly new and are not time tested.. so wait and watch
