Best Equipment For A Vigilante?

What would be best for a 13 year old vigilante (making him up for a book)......? This is a list of what I got....Gloves,Binoculars,Sling Shot,Cricket Bat. Any suggestions for what else he could have ? Please help my paper is do tomorrow. oh and also , should I give him an airsoft gun? I made it to where he found $75 on the street and his single mother takes him to the store to get this stuff.
