Why is America not good in 3 most popular games-Soccer,Cricket and Rugby?

What can be done to improve America's performance in these games?Do you think there is any scope for improvement? And why do you think is America so ordinary in these sports?What is the reason? I will appreciate your answers. Thanks and regards.

1. Probably because those sports are lame and boring. We aren't good at them because we don't care! AT ALL!
2. I think its because the american public loves action and fast moving sports, i dont think its all boring, soccer is, dont know what cricket is but rugby isnt bad.

7. i wouldnt say cricket or rugby are more popular than baseball or even basketball outside of the Oceanic countries, but America is addicted to scoring, thats why soccer isnt as big, we have american rules football as a substitute for rugby, and cricket, i dont really understand how its played so i cant say why that isnt as big

10. The simple answer is: Nobody in America cares, and never will. America has football, baseball, and basketball as their major sports entertainment. There is no room for other major sports. We have all the seasons covered, and no other sport can compete with the big three. Soccer may become a major sport in the next 20 years with the takeover of America by illegal Mexicans. There is no hope for Cricket or Rugby.

13. Most of the games are not played in high school in the US the only one that i have seen to be played everywhere is soccer. Rugby i heard is played in the northern states more and i have not heard of a cricket team. To improve they need to be have more popularity and start to build teams in high schools.
14. I wouldn't say those are the 3 most popular sports in the world. In the America's it's basketball, baseball, soccer. In America you can replace soccer with football. Although you can make an argument that the world's 3 most popular sports are soccer, tennis, and golf. I'm guessing you mean men's sports, because woman don't play rugby and cricket professionally. The U.S. has the best women's soccer team by the way. Anyways, the U.S. is not good in cricket because of baseball, which is somewhat similar (and better). Same with rugby, football is similar (and better). Although if you look at all the world's sports the U.S. is the best overall. Look at the olympics, the U.S. in the winter and summer games is always 1st or 2nd. The x-games--- U.S. dominates.

17. Most popular by whose standards? Europe? That answers your question. Why isn't the rest of the world as good as America is in our most popular sports - Football, Baseball, and Basketball? Soccer will never be big in the US, the overall fan support and participation in football, basketball, and baseball leave no room for soccer. I have played rugby, fun game but very limited interest and participation. And cricket? Not even sure it is played at all in the US, maybe at a few ivy league schools but that might be it.

19. not enough interest to develop good players. to Us, they are boring games. just as the rest of the world has grown up on soccer, rugby and, cricket, We grew up on AMERICAN football and, Basketball. that is why We are superior in those sports. in general, where You are from, dictates which sports You will like as an adult.

Because we are too wrapped up in: Basketball American Football WWE Wrestling Nascar Racing Ice Hockey Golf Tennis That we don't want to pay attention to other venues and I think they are afraid to spread their fan base out any further. That is my humble opinion, anyway. I am American but I feel these are the true reasons. I don't agree with the stuck up and stuck in the rut views of the men above me. I love to watch Rugby and Soccer. I have never seen Cricket but am sure it is equally exciting.
21. I can guarantee you that on a global scale, baseball and basketball are both more popular that rugby and cricket, so your argument is flawed from the start.
