what is the minimum speed required to watch live cricket match on internet and download movies?

i want to see live match on my internet but the surver didnot support it.so i want to know the required speed.to watch movie and download

2. you need broadband. There's no question that if you use dialup internet you will not be able to see live streaming. I have 15 mbps speed -- fastest possible speed in US. But i pay $60 a month for such broadband too. You have to sacrifise money if you want download and video entertainment on internet.
3. A broad band connection of 256 k is ok.
